Cuetians in Australia organised a vibrant Pohela Boishakh and Pitha Utshob 2026 in Sydney, bringing together CUET alumni, families, and community members to celebrate Bengali New Year with traditional food, cultural performances, and festive activities. The event created a warm and joyful atmosphere, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Bangladesh while strengthening the bond among Cuetians living in Australia.
The celebration featured a wide range of activities for all age groups, including games for children, adult male and female competitions, a music contest, dance performances, and other cultural presentations. A major attraction of the program was the traditional pitha utshob, where participants enjoyed various homemade Bengali pithas, adding an authentic flavour to the Boishakhi celebration. The colourful performances and enthusiastic participation made the day memorable for everyone present.
The program concluded with a prize-giving session, where winners from different games and competitions were recognised. Organisers thanked all participants, volunteers, performers, and families for making the event successful.
